Drawing with makeup

Here are the sketches I was talking about in class the other day. In the first one had some difficulty applying the makeup with the toothy paper texture. The second smoother paper took the pigment much better and I continued the sketch in more detail. I found it interesting that the makeup has much different effects than traditional mediums. There are areas that are glittery, light-reflecting, matte, etc..
